The Department of Conservative Dentistry is growing in leaps and bounds crossing new frontiers and striving for excellence. This specialty deals with three main facets of dental health: prevention of caries, restoring the diseased tooth to its original form either by restorative or root canal procedures, and aesthetic dentistry.
Good clinical care is delivered by undergraduates, postgraduates, and specialist faculty. Our department boasts the state of the art equipment including a Surgical Operating Microscope, Microsurgical instruments, bleaching unit, RVG, well-equipped dental laboratory, and sophisticated dental chairs. The students are encouraged to use newer dental materials.
The department meets standardized protocols of sterilization to safeguard our patients from cross-contamination. The Masters degree course provides advanced education in the subject through didactic, clinical, and research components with the help of sincere and dedicated teaching faculty to impart excellent training to postgraduates to make them competent professionals.
